The Cat's OUT!

I have been witholding a rather vital information for a month now. This "information" is about us deciding to transfer reception venues from the Marriott Hotel to the Cebu City Waterfront Hotel. I don't want to get into details here but truth be told, we made our decision based on solid and actual experiences which greatly influenced us to take back our paid for reservation and move over to another establishment. It was a rather stressful weekend for us last month as we needed to furnish the letter, to call 3-4 other venues, to wait for quotations and to consider the now changed budget for the reception. Luckily, Waterfront Lahug still had their Baltic Room available for December 30th (thankeeyoo Lord!) and so after much much, MUCH much ado, the cheque is due for release today. Big sigh of relief.

The reason why I didn't tell people this right away was because judging from all the times Murphy seemed to be kissing our foreheads this past 2 months, I didn't want to pre-empt the official transfer until our cheque was released. And now that it is to be, I can finally tell everyone about it, especially our guests who read this blog. YIPEEDEE!!!
