That walk
Holy crap, that walk. It is the first week of January and it was time to ... eng eng eng... decide on which church I would walk down the aisle on to marry. This was the easiest for me. I had always wanted the Redemptorist Church to be my ceremonial venue whether it be my wedding, wake or my children's baptism. I grew up in this Church and I have always loved their ceiling works. Reserving the church was not a problem at all. My mom was behind it. We just had to decide on a date so she did all the calling. I believe our options were Dec 19, 23 or 30. 19 was impossible because it would be too early for Hoen to take his leave. The 23rd was a bad idea because it was right before Christmas. So we went with the 30th, a Saturday, the perfect day to get married. After feng shui-ing and Catholic calendar consulting, my mom went with the same date. And when my mom is ok with it that means no more arguing. Hehe. So there. We paid the church in a month's time and we got the date blocked. Here's a pic of the church. Isn't it lovely?
